This is not your grandma’s bingo (unless your grandma is cool… We have people bring their cool grandmas all the time). Beauty Beyond Drag is always trying to keep it fresh with new guests every month! This month’s Naughty Bingo will include a power drag couple from Jackson, MI. Joining us after claiming first runner-up in the Miss Beauty Beyond Drag Pageant back in November, Betty J is a stunning bearded beauty, and it just so happens that their partner in crime is also the love of their life. Velma Violet is the other half, and you can expect an alternative style of rock and roll holiday shenanigans from this one! This duo travels Michigan and hits all the spots, road dogging it with each other across our beautiful state.
Our charcoochie (charcuterie) board contest in October was such a big hit that we decided to bring it back for the Holidays! We had some of the most elaborate boards, all decorated for Haloween. Well, this time, we’re encouraging you to decorate your board the only way we know how: NAUGHTY! And if you’ve been in the studio, you know we love Christmas music! This is a fun way to let loose a little before the weekend. Decorate a platter any way you would like (we recommend the risque route) for your chance to win a naughty holiday gift from DeeDee herself! We’ve got vibes. We’ve got pasties. We’ve got lubes. AND MORE!
Never been to a drag bingo? We encourage you to try it! Anyone who has ever come to our bingos falls in love with DeeDee. She just has this essence about her that makes you feel good. I’ve been working with DeeDee since June of 2018, and have seen her as a person I look up to as an example in this community LONG before that. When DeeDee is not twirling for the children, she is running an amazing non-profit right here in Grand Rapids called FOE (Family Over Everything), that has proudly stood by its community while fighting against brutality and social justice issues by hearing the concerns of the people, feeling their pains, and then addressing that behavior or circumstance for a better and more equitable society. So not only do we have a lovely host over here, her values are ACE and she is an active member of societal change!
